Fall Fever

Now that weather forecasts in Michigan contain threats of flurries, I feel as though fall as truly arrived. The leaves on all of the trees have completely morphed from green to orange, pumpkins can be seen on nearly ever porch; one can practically smell the cinnamon in the air. I have been very, very busy lately, so I haven't been able to take as many pictures as I'd like, but while we were in Frankenmuth this Sunday I got some good fall photos, as well as a couple of pictures of the fountain I really like there Today was also "Dogs On the Diag" at U of M, so Quincy and I went to represent TDI with our PAWS friends. Enjoy the pictures, and enjoy the season!

Feline Frienzy

If you were not aware before I have three cats as well as having a dog. It can create a rather hectic household occasionally, but one definitely full of love. One may be surprised to hear hat they all get along with one another. Quincy, though he may be a rather large dog and of hunting origins, is really just a lover and gets along with them just fine. He understands that they are not toys, that they have feelings, too, and even if they tease him sometimes he always has to behave :) Kitty, the oldest, is nearly 14 years old and rather dislikes the whole lot of the animasl in the house, but she tolerates them anyways. She is quite the crochety old woman. Cali, the second oldest, is Quincy's age being about 18 months and is still rather young. She looks a great deal like Kitty, which Kitty spites her for. Cali is also a total ham and will do anything for attention. Hope is the youngest at just over a year old and is a calico. She sleeps all day and is a grump, but her and Cali will play for hours on end at times. I am a dog person overall, but I definitely love cats. They are fun to have around, and definitely make the day a little more interesting. Enjoy the pictures. These are my favorites I've taken of the three of them.

Out and About

With senior year completely started now, I have had little time to get out and take pictures. This weekend, however, I was able to get out for a little while and walk around downtown to snap some shots. These are my favorties. I love the spiderweb shots. One morning we woke up to find the breathtaking foot-wide spiderweb in our backyard. I kept waiting for Charolette to come down for a chat. My favorite of the bunch, though, is the picture of the water founatin of the boy and girl huddled under an umbrella with the rain falling around them, though shelter one another from the mess around them. The fountain was outside of a funeral home in my town, and it just made me think, and feel a little comforted that, even at life's toughest moments, we are not alone and can be sheltered from the rain. Enjoy the pictures. Enjoy the day.
