With the seasons changing over the last few weeks, picture opportunities have been endless. All of the trees are beginning to change colors, going from vibrant greens to yellows, oranges, and reds that are nothing short of a festival for the eyes. Last week brought incredible amounts of rain for a Septemeber as a late affect of the hurricanes down south. My camera has gotten a lot of use in the last few weeks, and these are my favorite pictures of the many taken. There is no particular theme, just whatever striked my fancy....

Natural Beauty
With fall just on the horizon and summer quickly fading, I have been rather enthralled with the natural beauty around me. The leaves are just beginning to change; greens are being replaced with neutral tones. Nature provides some of the most miraculous, awe-inspiring sights, and I can't help but to capture these little miracles, holding them forever in the frame of a picture. As summer fades into autumn, I encourage you all to allow yourself the privalege to actually observe the natural beauty around you.

My Best Friend
Anyone that has ever had a dog knows that there is not a human alive that could come close to possessing that kind of love and loyalty that a dog has for his or her owner. Thankfully I have been blessed with one such perfect friend. My best friend is a blonde buddy, has one of the greatest smiles around, and loves me just as much when I am fresh out of bed as he does when I am all dressed up. His love is unconditional, he always knows when I am hurting, and best of all, he shows the same kindness to others that he does to me. Did I forget to mention that he is a little on the furry side? This group of photos is all about the one guy who is always there for me, my best friend Quincy.

In Living Color
On my 17th birthday, August 29, I was unbelievably stunned to find that all of my friends at PAWs had purchased a rather expensive and extremely nice camera for me, a Nikon D40. I don't think I have ever felt so loved by so many. Now that I have this stunning gift, I can't help but to want to take as many pictures as I can, improve my skills, and share my journey of life through a lense with those dearest to me and anyone else who may find this blog worthwhile. Anyways, since I've recieved my camera, I have been taking pictures of just about everything, but I have particularly enjoyed photographing my dog, Quincy, and the miracle that is nature. As summer begins to fade away, I wanted to take the chance to capture as many beautiful flowers as possible before the fall came. While I am fully aware of the show "In Living Color" and am a rather big fan, I couldn't help but think it was the perfect name for this particular post. This is our world, in living color.
